Tameem Antoniades is the brains behind a new wave of computer gaming. His work utilises radical new technology which aims to re-think methods for treating mental health. You, as the gamer, are wearing equipment which records biometric data such as heart rate and eye movement allowing the computer to capture your inner state. A virtual character acts as your guide through an environment – a kind of proxy therapist. In an attempt to vanquish or appease this character using only your mind, you learn strategies to overcome the undesirable mental state.
